Chicago Heights, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Spring 2011 registration is underway at Prairie State College (PSC). Hundreds of courses are offered days, evenings, weekends, and online to accommodate busy schedules.
Credit courses begin January 18. Non-credit courses include a variety of single day and multiple session offerings that begin throughout the spring. Students are encouraged to register early to get the schedule that best fits their needs.
Both credit and non-credit courses are listed in the spring class schedule, available on campus, located at 202 S. Halsted St., Chicago Heights, at area public libraries, and online at prairiestate.edu. Schedules were also mailed to district households.
To register for credit courses, new students must complete an enrollment application in person at the college or online. Hours of operation for Enrollment Services are Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Current students can register for credit courses in person or online.
Students can register for non-credit courses by completing the registration form available online at prairiestate.edu or in the back of the printed course schedule. Students also can register for non-credit courses in person at the Matteson Area Center, located at 4821 Southwick Drive, Matteson; or in the Enrollment Services Office on the main campus. Hours of operation for the Matteson Area Center are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
