Congressman Jackson to Speak on Race Relations

Chicago Heights, IL-(ENEWSPF)- U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr. (Dem. 2nd, Ill.) will speak on “The State of Race Relations Today” at a special presentation at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 1, at Prairie State College. A question-and-answer session will follow, according to a statement from the Center for Multicultural Communities.

The Center for Multicultural Communities is hosting the event in the atrium at the college, at 202 S. Halsted St. in Chicago Heights. Admission and parking are free, and all are welcome.
