Chicago Heights, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Prairie State College invites members of the PSC community to find a program that fits in their lives during an Open House event on Saturday, Sept. 28. The event scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Atrium on the college’s main campus, and features, raffles, giveaways, food and more. PSC is located 202 S. Halsted St. in Chicago Heights.
Faculty, administration and staff members, as well as current student ambassadors, will be on hand to answer questions about the college and campus life. There will be an opportunity to learn about the college’s programs, including new degree and certificate programs, as well as our associate degree options offered exclusively online. Attendees also can tour the facilities and discover other campus life opportunities.
“If you’re on the fence about whether or not now is the time to get started on or continue your college degree, or if you’ve wondered what other opportunities your community college has to offer, now is a great time to visit,” said PSC President Dr. Terri L. Winfree, a proud PSC alumna. “This is your chance to come to the campus and meet students, faculty and staff who can help you find something at PSC that works for you. We really have something for everyone!”
PSC is a two-year, comprehensive community college offering associate degrees, technical and career certificates, and adult, corporate and continuing education. The college also offers instruction and training on-site at area companies, schools and dozens of other locations throughout the Chicago south suburbs.
