S.A.M.B.A. Celebrates WANDERLUST – Festival of the Arts 2019

Crete, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Crete Creative Art Gallery & School in Crete, Illinois, a member of S.A.M.B.A. [Southland Arts Municipalities Business Alliance] is teaming up with Rita Collins of St Rita’s Amazing Traveling Bookstore and Textual Apothecary from Eureka, Montana, to celebrate the epitome of WANDERLUST, theme of S.A.M.B.A’s 2019 Festival of the Arts.

Reaching across the country, Crete Creative at Arbor House – 1304 Main Street in Crete, IL will host a “Morning Coffee And…” on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 9:30am to welcome Rita Collins of Eureka, Montana, who will set up her Amazing Traveling Bookstore & Textual Apothecary in the parking lot behind Crete Creative from 10:00am to 5:00pm to sell used books. Morning refreshments include pastries from Benton Street Bakery of Crete.

Rita is traveling across the USA from Eureka, Montana to Baltimore, Maryland to attend the 2019 Baltimore Book Festival November 1-3.  Along her route, she will stop in many villages, towns and cities to share her books and adventures, her journey begins on Monday, October 14th.

“For those of you who appreciate the wonder and therapeutic effects of reading words on a printed page, watch for this bookstore full of unusual used books to pull into a parking lot near you.”

Crete Creative, a member of S.A.M.B.A. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting the creative arts in Crete, IL. Crete Creative produces solo and group exhibits, teaches classes for all ages and provides studio space to local artists. The mission of Crete Creative is to have a welcoming, all-ages teaching and exhibition space for the creative arts in Crete, IL. Crete Creative is governed and staffed by dedicated volunteers who do it out of a passion for all creative arts.
