AccuWeather-(ENEWSPF)- AccuWeather reportsit has been a mild November for most of the Northeast, but temperatures are expected to take a dip later this week and into the weekend.

A storm system will blast across the region and bring wet weather to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; New York City; Philadelphia and Boston as the end of the week approaches.

Showers and Wind

Daytime highs will drop by 10-15 degrees Fahrenheit as a cold front slips across the Northeast.

While highs were in the upper 50s F to start the week, temperatures by Friday will struggle to reach the 50-degree mark.

Wet weather and chilly air will be accompanied by brisk winds, making this weekend feel rather raw in comparison to the unseasonable warmth experienced so far this season.

Temperatures will drop enough in the Northeast that snow could mix in with some of the showers, especially in higher elevations, Friday night into Saturday morning.

Temperatures will feel like they are in the lower 30s on Friday. Temperatures will continue to fall on Saturday with RealFeel Temperatures® plummeting into the lower to middle 20s.

RealFeel Temperatures® take into account many different factors such as winds, humidity and time of day to determine how hot or cold it actually feels outside.

“RealFeel Temperatures® in New York City on Saturday will only be in the 30s as there will be a strong and gusty northwest wind of 15-30 mph,” AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Dan Pydynowski said.

Windy conditions will whip across areas downwind of the Great Lakes on Friday and blast eastward through Philadelphia, New York and Boston by Saturday.

However, the brisk conditions will be short-lived as yet another temperature swing will arrive just in time for the next workweek.
