Chicago, IL-(ENEWSPF)- At approxmiately 9:15 a.m. today (June 7, 2012), a bank robbery occurred at the TCF Bank branch located at 8801 South Ridgeland in Oak Lawn, Illinois. A lone male entered the bank and passed a note to a teller demanding cash. The robber fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Information regarding the presence of a weapon is not yet available. No injuries were reported.
The robber was described by witnesses as being a black male with a dark complexion and dreadlocks. He is approximately 5’8” tall with an average build, and he was wearing a black running jacket with white stripes on the sleeves at the time of the robbery.
