Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

An arrest does not mean that a person is guilty. All those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty. It is the policy of eNews Park Forest to not remove items in the public record from publication. A resident in the first block of School House Court told police on November 20 that she accidentally left ten $20 bills on a ledge by her front door, intending to deposit the money. When she returned home, the money was gone.

Police were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of Monee Road on November 20 in response to a report of domestic violence. There were no arrests.

Frederick D. Green, 19, 99 Hemlock St., Park Forest, was arrested on November 21 and charged with possession of cannabis, speeding and operation of a motor vehicle without insurance when an officer observed the vehicle Green was driving traveling southbound on Western Avenue near North Street at 54 mph in a 35 mph zone, according to police.

A residential air-conditioning unit valued at $1000 was reported stolen from outside a residence in the 400 block of Indianwood Boulevard on November 22.

Dajuan P. Caraway, 26, 321 Farragut St.,  Park Forest, and Omar G. Baeza, 23, 213 Marquette St., Park Forest, were arrested on November 22 and charged with criminal trespassing to residence and possession of cannabis when police were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of Douglas Street to investigate a burglar alarm sounding.

A safe valued at $200 and a Wittnauer gold watch with diamonds valued at $1000 were reported stolen from a residence in the first block of West Rocket Circle on November 22.

A leaf blower valued at $600 was reported stolen from the 500 block of Lakewood Boulevard on November 23.

Police were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Dogwood Street on November 23 to investigate a report of domestic battery. Police have suspect information and continue to investigate.

A 32-inch Sylvania LCD HDTV was reported stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Neola Street on November 24.

Darnell J. Williams, 19 Leims St., Park Forest, was arrested on November 24 and charged with domestic battery when police were dispatched to the first block of Leims Street to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance.

A juvenile was arrested on November 24 and charged with felony disorderly conduct when police were dispatched to the 200 block of Allegheny Street to investigate suspicious circumstances in reference to a returned missing juvenile.

An Xbox 360 game console, a Nintendo Wii game console, a 42-inch flat-screen television, and a Nintendo Wii base were reported stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Meota Street on November 25.

Police were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of Gentry Street on November 25 to investigate a telephone harassment complaint. Police have suspect information and continue to investigate.

A vehicle parked in the first block of East Rocket Circle was reported vandalized with spray paint on November 25.

Three vehicles parked in the 300 block of Winnebago Street and three in the 400 block of Winnebago Street were discovered by police to be vandalized with spray paint on November 26.

Two vehicles parked in the 300 block of Wilshire Street were discovered by police to be vandalized with spray paint on November 26.

Playground equipment in the 200 block of Wilson Street was discovered by police to be vandalized with spray paint on November 26.

Three vehicles parked in the 300 block of Winona Street were discovered by police to be vandalized with spray paint on November 26.

A vehicle parked in the 200 block of Rich Road was discovered by police to be vandalized with spray paint on November 26.

Windows of a residence in the 200 block of Westwood Drive were reported vandalized by spray paint on November 26.

A vehicle parked in the 400 block of Wildwood Dr. was reported vandalized by spray paint on November 26.

A dagger valued at $100, an Xbox game console valued at $199, a jewelry box containing a number of jewelry items valued at $300, a laptop computer valued at $1000, a number of Xbox and Nintendo Wii game DVDs valued at $300, a Nintendo Wii game console valued at $199, a second Xbox videogame console valued at $199, and a Sanyo 46-inch flatscreen screen television valued at $1000 were reported stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Nanti Street on November 26.

Michael E. Polka, 44, 440 Niagra St., Park Forest, was arrested on November 27 and charged with two counts of battery after police were dispatched November 26 to the 400 block of Niagara Street in reference to a report of a disturbance.

Devontray D. Melton, 18, 416 Rutledge St., Park Forest, was arrested on November 27 and charged with possession of cannabis when police responded to the 200 block of Early Street to investigate a report of a suspicious vehicle.

A resident reported a transaction she did not authorize in the amount of $322.69 against her checking account on November 28.

A wallet containing $80 cash was reported stolen from a pair of jeans left on the side of the gym at Forest Trail Middle School, 215 Wilson Street, on November 28.
