Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

An iPod Nano valued at $150, one Nintendo Wii videogame valued at $11.69, a gift card valued at $.50 and four AA batteries valued at $4 were reported stolen from the area of Rockwell and Farragut Streets on November 6.

A juvenile told police two subjects had struck him and kicked him when he fell to the ground at the intersection of Western Avenue and Fir Street on November 6. When the suspects had left, the juvenile found that his cell phone had been stolen.

Deny L. Thomas, 45, 294 Mohawk St., Park Forest, was arrested on November 8 and charged with domestic battery when police were dispatched to the 200 block of Mohawk Street in reference to a 911 hang-up call.

A decorative holiday balloon at a residence in the 200 block of Allegheny Street was reported slashed on November 9.

Approximately $500 in copper pipe was reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Allegheny Street on November 9.

Lesean A. Perry, 21, 17123 Holmes Ave., Hazel Crest, was arrested on November 10 and issued a municipal citation charging possession of cannabis and issued a traffic citation charging speeding when an officer observed the vehicle Perry was driving traveling southbound on Western Avenue at a high rate of speed, according to police.

Police were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Titonka Street on November 10 in reference to a burglar alarm sounding. A resident reported hearing someone banging on a window in the back of the house.

Richard L Fox, 45, 146 Well St., Park Forest, was arrested on November 10 and charged with domestic battery when police were dispatched to the 100 block of Well Street to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance.

A pair of Nike Jordan shoes valued at $150, a 57-inch flat-screen television valued at $1500, a 37-inch television valued at $700, and a 32-inch television valued at $500, were reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Minocqua Street on November 10.

A 50-inch flat-screen television, a PlayStation 3 game system, an Xbox game system, miscellaneous Xbox games, a black stereo receiver, an iPhone 3GS, a 22-inch computer monitor, a homemade computer tower, and a can of Mountain Dew were reported stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Birch Street on November 11. Police estimate the value of stolen property at $5000.

A 2009 Dell Inspiron 520 desktop computer valued at $2500 and approximately 25 DVD movies valued at $500 were reported stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Windsor Street on November 11.

A window of a residence in the 100 block of Walnut Street was reported shattered by a rock on November 12.

Devone Verse, Sr., 43, 422 Tamarack St., Park Forest, was arrested on November 13 and charged with domestic battery after police were dispatched to the Park Forest Police Department on November 12 to investigate a report of domestic battery.

A resident told police on November 12 two checks in the amount of $1350 and $1455 were fraudulently cashed against her bank account.

A 37-inch Sony flat-screen screen television valued at $500 was reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Rich Road on November 12.

Adam J. Rodriguez-Shaw, 30, 301 Seneca St., Park Forest, was arrested on November 12 and charged with misdemeanor possession of cannabis after police were dispatched to the 300 block of Seneca Street in reference to a report of a domestic disturbance.

A box of rare coins valued at $250, a metal canister with approximately $650 in change, $2800 cash, an ECQ watch valued at $400, a Sector watch valued at $350, another watch valued at $30, a Seiko watch valued at $300, and an ESQ watch valued at $400 were reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Shabbona Drive on November 13.

An Armstrong central air-conditioning unit valued at $2000 was reported stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Titonka Street on November 14.

Crystal L. Martin, 28, 3525 Williams St., Steger, was arrested on November 14 and charged with domestic battery when police were dispatched to the 300 block of Victory Drive to investigate an accident involving a pedestrian. Police say Martin allegedly struck a man with a car during the course of an argument.

Police discovered that a window of a residence in the 300 block of Indianwood Boulevard had been shattered when they were dispatched to investigate the sound of breaking glass on November 14. Police further discovered that several dresser drawers inside the residence appeared to have been opened and looked through. Police alerted the owner.

A juvenile was arrested on November 14 and charged with obstructing justice after an officer was flagged down by a resident in the 400 block of Indiana Street. The resident reported suspicious subjects in the area.

Three juveniles were arrested on November 15 and charged with aggravated resisting and battery when an officer observed three juveniles began to fight each other while at a bus stop at the intersection of Illinois and Rutledge Streets. An officer was injured while attempting to break up the fight. According to police, when the officer held one student back the other two would continue to fight. The three allegedly attempted to continue to get at each other even when they were restrained by police.
