University Park, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Students and prospective students of Governors State University can assess their prior learning, learn how it can be applied to a college portfolio, and how it may lead to college credit at a seminar hosted by the Interdisciplinary Studies Program and the College of Arts and Sciences.
The Prior Learning Portfolio Seminar takes place Saturday, June 23, from 10 a.m. to noon, in room D1496.
The seminar will help students identify learning that may be equivalent to college-level work. Participants will learn how to identify comparable college courses and document their prior learning. They will also learn how to compile a portfolio with all the required elements for GSU review and possible college credit.
