Park Forest Residents Can Take Advantage of Early Voting and Vote By Mail


Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Residents in Park Forest can take advantage of early voting and voting by mail before the April 4 consolidated election. For this election, voters choose among candidates for the elementary school district board, high school district board, library trustees, and village trustees. The village president is also on the ballot even though there is only one candidate since the incumbent withdrew his name.

Cook County Residents in Park Forest

Early voting for Cook County residents is held at the Park Forest Village Hall, 350 Victory Drive, beginning Monday, March 20. This location is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday until April 3. Sunday hours on March 26 and April 2 are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Will County Residents in Park Forest

While there are no early voting sites in Park Forest for Will County residents, there are three early voting sites nearby.

Governors State University – Hantack House, 1 University Parkway, University Park (across University Drive from Paul Bunyan statue).

  • March 20 – March 24: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • March 25: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • March 26: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • March 27 to March 31: 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • April 1: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • April 2: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Louis Sherman Community Center, 3501 Hopkins, Steger

  • March 20 to March 24: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • March 27 to March 31: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
