Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—February 9, 2014. The St. Irenaeus Community Garden group will be kicking off the 2014 season with a nice little fundraiser! Funds will be used to get a good start on the garden!
The event will take place on Saturday, February 15th, beginning at 6:30 p.m., in St. Irenaeus Church’s school gym, 78 Cherry Street, Park Forest (corner of Orchard & Indianwood).
We will be playing LCR. If you’ve played this game, you know how fun it is! If you haven’t, you’re in for a fun time! It’s very easy to learn.
Here is how the game is played:
Each game will begin with you placing three (3) $1 bills in front of you.
You will roll 3 dice.
If you roll a 1, you give $1 to the player to your left.
If you roll a 2, you give $1 to the player to your right.
If you roll a 3, you place $1 in the pot.
Roll a 4, 5 or 6, you keep your dollars and hand the dice to the next player.
You never roll more than 3 dice and never more dice than you have dollars.
The winner of each game is the last player with 1 or more dollars in front of them.
The pot will then be split, 50/50 between the winner and the garden.
Soft drinks and water will be available for $1 each.
It is requested that participants bring twelve (12) $1 bills to the event – enough money to cover 4 games if time permits.
Come on out to support the community garden and have some fun! For additional information, call Keri Miller at 708-715-0604.
