Matteson, IL—(ENEWSPF)—September 29, 2013. The Sauk-Calumet Group of the Illinois Sierra Club will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, October 14, at 7:15 p.m. at the Frankfort Public Library, 21119 Pfeiffer Rd. (just off Rt. 30).
This month meet Thomas Lerczak, writer, musician and naturalist with the Illinois Nature Preserves Commission, who has captured his love of birds and nature in his new book, ‘Side Channels: A Collection of Nature Writing and Memoir.’ He’ll tell stories, show slides and he may even play his guitar at the restaurant after the meeting.
Sierra Club meetings are free and open to the public. People who enjoy outdoor activities, who want to protect the environment, or who wish to preserve the world in which we live, are encouraged to attend. Join us for a fun and enlightening evening!
