‘Ethnic Expressions’ Opens January 24 at Tall Grass Arts Association

Saturday Morning Coffee Talk to be Held January 25

Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—January 24, 2014. On Friday, January 24, an exhibit entitled “Ethnic Expressions” will open in the Tall Grass Gallery with a reception from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The invited artists were challenged to submit works of art that define their heritage and explain how their culture, heritage and ethnicity inform and influence their art.

The exhibit is curated by Cousandra Armstrong and Janice Pratt. The participating artists are: Terry Boykin, Sandra Bridges, David Caballero, Keith David Conner, Esperanza Gama, Jean Lewis, Mathias Muleme, Fritz Millevoix, Donna Radcliffe, Angela Redmond, Max Sansing, Janet Sheard, Dr. Yemonja Smalls, and Grant White.

In addition, a Saturday Morning Coffee Talk will be held at the Gallery on Saturday, January 25 at 11 a.m. where you can have a conversation with a few of the artists of “Ethnic Expressions.”

The exhibit will run through March 1. The exhibit, reception and coffee talk are all free and open to the public.
