Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Members of Calvary United Protestant Church of Park Forest hosted a neighborhood block party Saturday, offering free food and entertainment for, well, children of all ages.

Proud member of LION Publishers

Park Forester Ida Hay told ENEWSPF the picnic is now an annual event, "The weather held off today. It was marvellous. We had a beautiful day, wonderful entertainment for the kids. We had our church, and everybody else that would come and join us. We had free hot dogs, we had free games, we had prizes, we had fellowship. We’re so, so happy to share our church with these people."

As part of the entertainment, Frank Birdsall entertained children and adults on bicycles and unicycles of many shapes and sizes.
