Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–February 22, 2011. The environmental movie, ‘A Chemical Reaction: The Story of a True Green Revolution’ will be shown on Saturday, February 26 at 7 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Community Church, 70 Sycamore Dr., Park Forest.
‘A Chemical Recation’ tells the story of a doctor and community that came together to ban the use of chemical lawn pesticides and herbisides in their community by fighting big chemical companies, and demonstrating the power of people to join together to effect great change in society. A discussion will follow the movie.
The event is free and open to the public. Free popcorn, coffee and tea will be served. If you wish, please bring a snack or non-alcoholic drink to share. Optional donations will be accepted.
