Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–December 22, 2016. Did you know that every two seconds someone needs blood and that blood supplies are frequently low this time of the year? To help meet this need, the Knights of Columbus, in partnership with LifeSource, will hold a community blood drive on Friday, January 6 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church gym, 227 Monee Road in Park Forest.
Every donor will receive a $10 VISA gift card.
To donate whole blood, you must be at least 18 years old (16 or 17 years old with signed parental consent form located here) weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in generally good physical health. Donors must present a photo ID on the day of donation.
Donor eligibility will be determined on the day of donation by the individual conducting the review of the donor’s medical history.
