Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- One person was shot during an armed robbery on Minocqua Street, suffering a “non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg,” according to a statement from police.
Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of Minocqua Street on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at approximately 12:30 a.m., police said. Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims of an armed robbery, one of whom had been shot.
The initial investigation indicates that the incident is drug-related, according to police. As this is still an active investigation, police are not releasing additional information at this time.
