Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Pace is reducing service on Route 357 Lincoln Highway due to budget constraints and drops in ridership since the pandemic began.
With its 2021 budget, Pace formalized 73 route suspensions and schedule modifications on 25 other routes which were temporarily put in place in May.
“Upon availability of funding and return of commuter demand, Pace may re-evaluate and possibly reinstate some service,” Pace officials said in a statement.
Pace Route 357 Lincoln Highway provides daily service between Ford Heights and Matteson via Lincoln Highway with timed connections at the Pace Chicago Heights Terminal.
