Just a quick note to let readers know, Cynthia Ogorek, who was to speak today (Sunday, Sept. 14.) on her new book, "The Lincoln Highway Around Chicago," has had to cancel due to water in her basement and the difficulty in getting around the South Suburbs. The Park Forest Historical Society WILL still be holding its annual meeting at 2:30 today in Park Forest’s Village Hall. We hope to reschedule Ms. Ogorek to speak in the future.
