Documentary Film ‘Genetic Roulette — the Gamble of Our Lives’ to be Screened at UUCC on Saturday, January 25


Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—January 19, 2014. The Unitarian Universalist Community Church (UUCC), 70 Sycamore Drive, Park Forest, will screen the documentary film ‘Genetic Roulette – The Gamble of Our Lives’ on Saturday, January 25 at the church.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. with an optional vegetarian pot luck dinner. The film screening will begin at 7 p.m. followed by a discussion. The event is free and open to the public.

‘Genetic Roulette,’ shows us evidence pointing to GMO’s (genetically modified organisms) in foods as being a major contributor to rising disease rates in the United States, especially among children.  This sometimes shocking film may change your diet and help you protect your family. This film has won the 2012 Movie of the Year by the Solari Report and named the Top Transformational Film of 2012 by AwareGuide.
