Chicago —(ENEWSPF)--May 31, 2016. Attorney General Lisa Madigan issued a statement today and praised a Randolph County jury for finding defendant Drew Peterson guilty of solicitation of murder for hire and solicitation of murder following a six-day trial.
The jury returned guilty verdicts earlier today against Peterson, 62, for a plot to kill Will County State's Attorney James Glasgow. Peterson's sentencing before Randolph County Judge Richard Brown was set for July 26. He faces mandatory sentences of 20 to 40 years in prison for solicitation of murder for hire . . .
