Flossmoor, IL—(ENEWSPF)—January 30, 2017. Last year, Bernie Sanders and his supporters launched a new political organization called OurRevolution. It seeks to support the next generation of progressive leaders, empower millions to fight for progressive change and elevate the nation’s overall political consciousness. OurRevolution groups are forming throughout the United States.
The Flossmoor group of OurRevolution will meet on Thursday, February 23 at Flossmoor Station Restaurant & Brewery, 1035 Sterling Avenue. We will begin gathering at 6:30 p.m. with the meeting starting at 7 p.m. The meeting is open to the public.
A representative from OurRevolution has been invited to speak about future actions to resist Donald Trump and help plan a strategy for the future.
The group has been invited to participate in a MoveOn meeting on Sunday, February 12 at 3 p.m. at 3505 Lakeview Drive in Hazel Crest. This meeting will be held in the lower level meeting room. The location for the MoveOn meeting is west of the Grand Prairie Library, just south of 183rd Street.
