UNIVERSITY PARK—(ENEWSPF)—November 18, 2016. Give a gift that gives back this holiday season by supporting student work! You can get a jump start on your holiday shopping at ArtForum’s Art Market and Food Market on November 21 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in GSU’s Hall of Governors.
ArtForum is a student club focused on the professional development of student artists through networking, art conversation, exposure to the arts, opportunities to exhibit work, and collaborative projects.
This year’s event will also include a tamale sale, courtesy of the Association of Latin American Students (ALAS) and a bake sale courtesy of Reconstructed.
ALAS’s mission is to spread awareness of Latin-American culture with engaging educational programs, leaders, and events.
Reconstructed is the student literature and art journal acting as a sister club to ArtForum that offers a platform for student writers and artists to publish their work.
Proceeds for ALAS and ArtForum help continue general club activities. Proceeds for Reconstructed will go toward production of the journal. The event is open to the public.
GSU offers undergraduate and graduate academic programs in the arts.
