Suspicious Packages Onboard Two Cargo Planes Allegedly Being Sent to Chicago Synagogues

CHICAGO—(ENEWPSF)—October 29, 2010.  According to CBS 2 Chief News Correspondent Jay Levine, a U.S. official told CBS News that a UPS plane stopped in the United Kingdom and a plane stopped in Dubai, United Arab Emirates were searched in response to specific warnings that they were carrying suspicious packages addressed to synagogues or Jewish centers in Chicago.

Chicago synagogues have been warned not to accept UPS packages from east of New York and are asked to call Chicago Police if any delivery is attempted.
