Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)— Four Forest Trail Middle School students recently reported at a board meeting on their participation in the district’s Summer Book Program. Brittney Kwamin, Whitney Kwamin, Zachery Mullens, and Krystal Clayton each made presentations and shared reflections on their favorite books.
Principal Dr. Carolyn Stroud said the club was formed, “to promote reading during the summer by providing students with structured reading and enrichment opportunities.” Students read different novels, including Begging for Change, Hoot, and Tuck Everlasting.
