Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Trick or treating hours in Park Forest are 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Halloween– Saturday, October 31st.
Village sponsored Safe Halloween activities begin at 3 pm with a free movie at Eagle Movie Theatre (formerly Park Forest Theatre), located in DownTown Park Forest at 340 Main Street. At 5:00 pm, local business owners, Village Board members, staff members and volunteers will be stationed in the DownTown area, ready to distribute candy to trick or treaters. This will conclude at 6:00 pm as a costume judging event will begin inside the former Marshall Field’s building, located next door to Village Hall– also in the DownTown area.
For children trick or treating around town this year, to help ensure a safe Halloween experience, they should trick or treat in groups or with a parent or guardian. Additionally, all candy should be inspected prior to eating.
