Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Mrs. Leona DeLue, the first resident of Park Forest, slices a cake with Mayor John Ostenburg at an event Sunday celebrating the 60th anniversary of the incorporation of Park Forest.
On February 1st, 1949 the Village of Park Forest was officially incorporated. 60 years later, the vision of pioneers like Philip Klutznick, Nathan Manilow and Carol Sweet have made it possible for over 23,000 people who currently call Park Forest their home and thousands more who once lived in the Village.
