Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—February 13, 2016. The Park Forest Commission on Human Relations hosts a Black History Month program on Saturday, Feb. 20 at Freedom Hall, 410 Lakewood Blvd.
The program features a film on Tulsa, Oklahoma’s Black Wall Street, one of the most successful African-American communities in the country during the early 20th century. A panel discussion follows the film. Invited panelists include Congresswoman Robin Kelly, Michelle Alexander, Dr. Efaye Williams, and Walter Perkins.
