‘Free Day’ Thursday, June 7 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—June 7, 2012. The opening of the Park Forest Aqua Center Swim Season is here. For the 2012 Swim Season at the Aqua Center, a new approach to group membership rates is in effect. Swimmers can fill out a membership application and add family or friends to the list at an increased savings per person up to a maximum total of 5. ‘Early Bird’ discounts are also available if you purchase your membership before June 9th. The combination of this new membership approach along with the facility/grounds improvements done at the Aqua Center over the past few years and other Villages will make it possible for you the enjoy the beach right here in Park Forest.
A kickoff extravaganza for the 2012 Swim Season starts today and includes a series of events being scheduled as follows:
- Thursday, June 7th from 3 to 8 PM will be a community “Free Day” for anyone to visit, and swim, at the Aqua Center free of charge.
- Friday evening, June 8th there will be a “Members Only Welcome Event” from 5 to 8 PM for all registered members.
- Saturday, June 9th is the official Opening Day for the 2012 swim season with hours from Noon to 7 PM.
- Wednesday, June 13th a concert event and “Friends of the Aqua Center Benefit” will take place from 5 to 9 PM. Park Forest’s own Dave Rudolf will be the musical performance starting at 7 PM. Members can attend for free while non-members can attend for a fee of $6.
