Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–September 6, 2011. On Wednesday, September 21, Pax Christi Seed Planters, Generations for Peace Park Forest, St. Irenaeus Church Community Garden and the South Suburban Food Cooperative invite you to participate in the International Day of Peace Event at St. Irenaeus Church, 78 Cherry, Park Forest.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. and will include the planting of a Peace Pole and a commitment to peace dedication in the community garden located in the back of the church off the parking lot. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.
Come and take a stand for the things that make for peace. Commit to nonviolence and seed the change we hope to see.
