A cultural competency course for nurses, designed to help you
- understand the lives and concerns of the older LGBT patient
- recognize barriers to care and health disparities that LGBT elders face
- gain insight into the roles that gender and sexuality play in the lives
of LGBT elders - learn how HIV is affecting the older adult
- effectively communicate with and care for your patients
