More from the Village of Park Forest:
The villages of Matteson, Olympia Fields, Park Forest and Richton Park provide an emergency notification system to its residents in the event of emergency when critical information must be communicated. The CodeRED Emergency Notification System is an ultra high-speed telephone communication service designed to deliver emergency messages and distribute information considered to be important.
This system allows targeted areas of the Village, or the entire Village, to be notified within minutes with a pre-recorded message describing the situation. When necessary, you will be given specific instructions which may require immediate action on your part.
If you see 866-419-5000 displayed, you will know the call was a CodeRED emergency notification call. If you would like to hear the last message delivered to your phone, simply dial the number back.
Please note: There may be homes in Park Forest that no longer have a regular telephone line. In these cases it is critical that residents and businesses alike register their phone numbers to be called.
