Chicago, IL–(ENEWSPF)–
After a six-and-a-half-year prison hiatus, notorious ex-Cicero Town President Betty Loren-Maltese returned to Chicago today.
Donning shades and a wool coat, Maltese was met by a throng of media people as she arrived at a South Side Salvation Army halfway house where she will spend 120 days, the remainder of her sentence for corruption.
Maltese, who was convicted of defrauding the people of Cicero of more than $12 million, was just released from custody in Nevada.
Maltese continues to draw health insurance for herself and her daughter, the Sun-Times reports.
