Congresswoman Duckworth’s Bipartisan Friendly Airports for Mothers (FAM) Act Passes Senate

Washington, DC--(ENEWSPF)--April 19, 2016.  Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth’s bipartisan Friendly Airports for Mothers (FAM) Act—which would ensure breastfeeding mothers traveling through large- and medium-sized airports have accessible, clean and convenient lactation rooms to use—passed the Senate today as part of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Reauthorization Act, which funds our nation’s air transportation infrastructure. The FAM Act, which has 62 bipartisan cosponsors in the House and is endorsed by several public health organizations, will now return to the House for consideration as part of the FAA Reauthorization Act.
