Today, Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth (IL-08) announced $1,499,999 in federal funding to help the Elk Grove Village-based American Academy of Pediatrics improve immunization practices for children in America. The funding is expected to be used for updating the public health organization’s information technology infrastructure and expanding immunization delivery partnerships to help protect against vaccine-preventable diseases.
