Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—September 30, 2014. All of God’s creatures and their people are invited to attend The Church of the Holy Family’s Blessing of the Animals on Saturday October 4 at 4 pm. Church of the Holy Family is located at the corner of Sauk Trail and South Orchard Drive (102 Marquette Street, Park Forest). For your safety and comfort, please remind your people to bring leashes, carriers, or other appropriate items to keep you safe and secure.
During the service, you will have the opportunity to receive an individual blessing. You will also be given a special St. Francis Medal to wear on your collar! Refreshments will follow include tempting refreshments and treats for creatures and humans alike.
