Second Earthquake Strikes Haiti

Port-au-Prince, Haiti–(ENEWSPF)–January 20, 2010.  The U.S. Geological Survey has reported that a magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck Haiti today.  This second earthquake hit at 6:03 a.m. (1103 GMT) approximately 35 miles (56 kilometers) northwest of Port-au-Prince and 13.7 miles (22 kilometers) below the surface.

The earthquake sent screaming people running into the streets.  It is unknown at the present time if this second earthquake has caused additional damage or injuries.
