The Sauk-Calumet Sierra Club Group will be resuming their monthly meetings (after the summer hiatus) on Monday, September 10th, at the Frankfort Public Library, 21119 Pfeiffer Rd. in Frankfort at 7:15 pm.

The program at this meeting will be presented by Wendy Smith, Park Ranger at the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. Smith will be discussing a national study of maple trees which the National Lakeshore participated in which will help to determine how these trees are fairing despite the impacts of climate change.

All meetings are open to members and the general public.  For more information or for questions about the Club and its activities email Patrick Coffey at [email protected].
