Silver Spring, Maryland–(ENEWSPF)–April 21, 2011. S & M Enterprise Corp, 4703 2ndAve, Brooklyn NY 11232, is recalling RAIN SWISS ROLL (STRAWBERRY FLAVOR) and (COCONUT FLAVOR) because they contain undeclared eggs. Consumers who are allergic to eggs may run the risk of serious or life-threatening reactions if they consume this product.
The recalled RAIN SWISS ROLL (STRAWBERRY FLAVOR) and (COCONUT FLAVOR) were distributed nationwide in uncoded 160g cardboard boxes. They are products of China.
The recall was initiated after routine sampling by New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets food inspectors and subsequent analysis of the product by food Laboratory personnel revealed the presence of eggs in packages of RAIN SWISS ROLL (SRAWBERRY FLAVOR) and (COCONUT FLAVOR) which was not declared eggs as an ingredient on the table.
No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.
Consumers who are allergic to eggs and purchased RAIN SWISS ROLL (SRAWBERRY FLAVOR) and (COCONUT FLAVOR) are urged to return them to the place of purchase. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 917-662-7995.
