Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—August 27, 2016. The Village of Park Forest will host a program aimed to educate seniors on planning for the future will be held on Thursday, September 15, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Village Hall, 350 Victory Drive. Speakers from the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago will be on hand to share details on:
- How to create an estate will.
- How to create a power of attorney for health care, and a power of attorney for property
- What is a living will?
- How to establish a trust for property owned, versus a transfer on death instrument.
- How to obtain legal guardianship as a caregiver for an adult, a child, or senior. \How to establish an agreement with social security to become the representative payee for a family member with dementia.
