Village of Park Forest to Host ‘Growing Green Recycle Fest’ on Saturday, July 30

Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—July 12, 2016.  The Village of Park Forest will host a ‘Growing Green Recycle Fest’ on Saturday, July 30 from 8 a.m. to noon in DownTown Park Forest at the intersection of Main Street and Cunningham Lane (adjacent to the Park Forest Farmers’ Market).

Television Disposal

  • $10 per TV for the first 200 TVs turned in by Park Forest residents (limit of 3 per home/proof f ID required)
  • $$20 per TV for non-Park Forest Residents

Document Shredding limited to 3 bankers boxes per vehicle

Electronic disposal unlimited disposal for residents of any community

  • Alkaline (9V, C, D, AA, etc.), Hearing Aids, Watches, etc.
  • No car batteries

Eye glasses disposed Coordinated by the Rotary Club of Park Forest

Shoe Disposal Coordinated by the Kiwanis Club of Park Forest

  • Donate gently used adult/kids shoes for re-use by those in need
