CHICAGO–(ENEWSPF)–March 27, 2017. On April 4, 1968, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated, killed by a gun. Today, countless residents of Chicago, mostly children, are being assassinated by guns on our streets. Let’s honor Dr. King by choosing to turn in a gun. Choosing, like Dr. King, to make non-violence a lifestyle.
On Saturday, April 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Sabina Church, 1210 West 78th Place in Chicago, you can turn in a gun and receive $100. You’ll receive $10 for turning in BB-Guns, Air-guns, and replica guns. NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
