CHICAGO HEIGHTS—(ENEWSPF)—January 31, 2017. Prairie State College’s Christopher Art Gallery will host the 2017 Annual High School Art Exhibit from Monday, February 6 through Thursday, February 23. An opening night reception will be held on Thursday, February 9 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with awards presented at 6 p.m. Both the exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
This yearly exhibit features the work of high school students from District 515 in a wide range of media, including sculpture, photography, drawing, and painting.
The Christopher Art Gallery is located on Prairie State’s main campus, 202 South Halsted Street in Chicago Heights. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Wednesday and Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The exhibit can also be shown by appointment.
