Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—UPDATED
October 6, 2016. The fall Potpourri lecture series at the Park Forest Public Library, 400 Lakewood Boulevard, has been announced. The Thursday morning series begins on October 13 with “Behind the Page: A look at Comic Book (and Graphic Novel) Creation and Creators” with Author & Editor Mort Castle.

- October 20th ‘When Americorps Came to Park Forest” with Park Forest Village Manager, Tom Mick
- October 27th “National Park Service A Centennial Celebration” with World Traveler, Mr. Yuan Liang
- November 3rd “Smart Savings for Park Forest Residents” with Cook County Department of Environmental Control
- November 10th “Structural Racism” with Center for Tax and Budget Accountability, Danielle Stanley
- November 17th “Biking Along the Danube from Vienna to Budapest” with Bicycle Traveler, Al Sturges
- December 1st “Traditional Holiday Music” with The South Suburban Dulcimer & Folk Music Society
All lectures are free and open to the public and begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Library’s Ringering Room.
