Please join The League of Women Voters, Park Forest Area for the Summer Breakfast Meeting on Wednesday, July 27th at 9:00am at the home of Mary Lubertozzi, 3434 Attica Road in Olympia Fields. Weather permitting, we are meeting in the garden so please bring a sun hat and a lawn chair. As is our tradition, coffee and tea will be provided; please bring something tasty to share.
Most importantly, every member is asked to bring a friend, neighbor or family member. The focus of this meeting is twofold: 1) to enhance the active engagement of our current members in League activities; and 2) to recruit new members.
We will share information on the history of the National League of Women Voters and on the Park Forest League and discuss the current initiatives of each of the League committees. We have designed a fun approach so that current members receive a reminder of why the League is a worthwhile commitment and potential members will be excited to become an active part of the League by joining our ranks.
