‘Birds, Bees, and Butterflies’ a Native Garden Tour to be Held on Sunday, August 6

River Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—August 1, 2017.  Green Community Connections will host a native garden tour ‘Birds, Bees, and Butterflies’ on Sunday, August 6 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Participants can choose from 15 gardens brimming with life and beauty. Visit the gardens at your own pace. Our host gardeners are excited to share these treasured spaces with you.

Tickets will be on sale and maps available ​at the Cook County Forest Preserve at the northwest corner of Lake St. and Harlem Ave. in River Forest the day of the tour​.

Tickets ​are also on sale now for those who wish to purchase their tickets online in advance, and a tour map will be emailed the day before the tour. Adult tickets are $10, kids 18 and younger are free. Purchase tickets here.

Additional volunteers are needed to act as docents, at the check-in table, and sign-ups for our growing wildlife corridor map. Volunteers get free admission to the tour.
