This Folks, Is Your Republican Party: Senator David Perdue Encourages Faith and Freedom Attendees to Pray for President Obama’s Death

Senator David Perdue (R-Ga)

OREGON—(ENEWSPF)—June 13, 2016. At the recent Faith & Freedom Coalition’s ‘Road to Majority’ forum, Georgia’s Republican Senator David Perdue told those in attendance to pray for President Obama’s demise.  Yes, you’re reading this correctly.  A United States Senator wanted people to publicly pray for the death of our President.

In a feeble attempt at humor, Perdue told the gathering of religious conservatives in the audience, “We need to be very specific about how we pray.” He suggested using Psalms 109:8, which reads: “Let his days be few, and let another have his office.”

His “prayer” continues:

“Let his days be few; and let another take his office.

Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.

Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.

Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labor.

Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favor his fatherless children.

Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.

Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the Lord; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.”

Is it any wonder why the spineless Republican Party won’t stand up to the racist Donald Trump?  It’s been several days now since Senator Perdue’s “prayer.”  Why hasn’t the RNC condemned this Senator?

As one could expect, Senator Perdue is now claiming his remarks were misunderstood.

Yes, folks, this is your Republican Party.
