Retired General Wesley Clark, Former NATO Supreme Allied Commander, on New Revelations About Paul Manafort

“Who would Donald Trump be serving as President?”

Little Rock, AR –(ENEWSPF)–August 15, 2016.  Retired General Wesley Clark, the former NATO Supreme Allied Commander, and Chairman of the advisory board of VoteVets, released the following statement regarding news this morning that Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Paul Manafort, was found to be on a “secret ledger” that detailed millions of dollars in payments from pro-Russian interests in the Ukraine:

“It is extremely worrisome to learn that Donald Trump’s campaign manager received undisclosed cash from pro-Russian, anti-western elements in Ukraine.  This revelation, coupled with Trump-directed changes to the Republican Platform that softened language critical of Russia, Donald Trump’s willingness to consider abandoning our NATO allies, and Russian hacking of Democrats should make us ask “Who would Donald Trump be serving as President?”  To use the words of former CIA Director Morell, will he be an “unwitting agent” of Putin’s?”
