“This decision directly endangers our communities and public safety by starving our law enforcement of vital resources and information.
At a time when community trust in law enforcement is extremely low, the President’s reckless decision will make this situation worse.
We know that building strong community-police relations improve public safety and give minority communities a voice in how their communities are policed.
Quite simply, this decision is a slap in the face to all communities and law enforcement.”
