Washington, DC–(ENEWSPF)–January 12, 2016. Today, Reps. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA), Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-CA), Steny Hoyer (D-MD), and Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) joined Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) to release a letter to President Obama signed by at least 145 Democrats in the House. The letter says in part,
“We strongly condemn the Department of Homeland Security’s recent enforcement operation targeting refugee mothers and children from El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala.”
